Ripon Jewel es una cerveza que encargó la catedral de Ripon para conmemorar el descubrimiento de una joya del siglo VII, aparecia en la catedral a finales de la década de 1990.

Es de color ámbar profundo, que refleja el tono de la joya. Ale de sabor intenso, con aroma afrutado y una compleja mezcla de maltas y lúpulos. Cierta similitud en el sabor y en el estilo de las cervezas "Barley Wine"

Esta cerveza era producida en un principio por Morland y en 1999, debido a problemas económicos, fue adquirida por Greene King.

De color ámbar dorado intenso, con mucho cuerpo, aroma a ciruelas e intenso dulzor de la malta. En boca resaltan los sabores a pan de malta y a toffee y su dulzor se equilibra por un satisfactorio y largo final amargo y seco.
