Rasputin / Moord & Doodslag - Cease & Desist

Rasputin is a sweet imperial stout with lots of chocolate and coffee notes accompanied by plums. Strong yet not overwhelming, very flavorful and powerful. Try aging it for a couple of years to get it’s full complexity. Flavor indication: chocolate, hint of coffee, plums.

Nuestra primera Russian Imperial Stout recibe el nombre del ruso probablemente más famoso de la corte Romanov.

De acuerdo con nuestra forma de entender la cerveza le creemos el artífice de este estilo durante el gobierno del zar Nicolás II y la zarina Alexandra nació este estilo.

Así que, por eso, dedicamos a esta cerveza a Rasputin. Se elabora sólo una o dos veces al año en una edición limitada.

Poppels Russian Imperial Stout

A Russian Imperial Stout is simply a stout with extra everything! Despite what the name suggests the beer was first brewed in 19th century England for export to the Russian court.

Our interpretation of this style is a brooding beer with a thick body and generous tones of liquorice, coffee and chocolate. A robust and complex beer best enjoyed in moderate amounts.

Here no less than seven kinds of malt coexist in one delicious beer. The most notable perhaps are the roasted grains (roasted coffee beans), chocolate malt (which add a deep chocolate undertone) and black malt (which give burnt hints).

Hel & Verdoemenis is bursting with flavors. Bitter, roasted, chocolate, coffee. All times 2. It’s this why it’s our Flag Ship and best selling Imperial Stout. For this edition we added hazelnut to add even an extra dimension. Flavour indication: chocolate, coffee Translates as Hell & Damnation Hazelnut
