Monserrate Roja

Las notas dulces de la malta, balanceadas con la amargura del lúpulo, hacen que esta cerveza sea ideal para acompañar hamburguesas y carnes, en especial cortes gruesos y jugosos. Comidas picantes, como la mexicana o la india, son también una combinación perfecta. Jamones maduros y quesos, como el tipo Cheddar.

Esta Strong Ale belga es tan rica, tan dulce y tan deliciosa, que no dudaríamos en llamarla pura lujuria dentro de una botella. Durante la elaboración de esta cerveza el estado de ánimo general se volvió algo sensual, si no directamente erótico! Esta cerveza es tan lujuriosa que no podemos responder ante las consecuencias si le sirves esto a tu novia durante una cena con velas.

No estamos orgullosos de ser pecadores, pero al menos estamos abiertos al respecto...

Hertog Jan Grand Prestige is our crown jewel; the pride of the Hertog Jan brewery. For this dark and heavy Hertog Jan beer the special Hertog Jan malt is used: a special mix of four kinds of malt. This gives a rich, full flavor in which sweet and bitter can be distinguished.

Hertog Jan Grand Prestige is one of the few beers that can be aged, the taste will become richer with the years. After two years of aging, the taste will start to change. After many years the taste will be similair to a Port wine.
