a touch of black pepper and caraway layering in and balancing out the sweet toffee characters from the malt. On the finish is a long lasting freshly cut liquorice sensation followed by a pleasant acidity from the cassis and just a hint of rock salt to marry the flavours together.
Appearance: Tar-black with a brief deep brown head.
Nose: Rich freshly picked blackcurrants mixed with delicate hints of anise and dark chocolate. Red fruits, burnt toffee, and just a hint of smoke follows.
