Cadbury Creme Egg experience. Pouring jet black with a tan mocha head, it looks incredible in the glass. Warm boozy notes of whisky and sherry circle the glass as you stick your nose in, with a rich dutch cocoa aroma backing up the barrel character. The first sip is like biting right into a Creme Egg. layer of chocolate and vanilla intertwine, all supported by rich whisky and a hint of that sherry in the background. The finish is sweet to begin with thanks to the lactose, but is then cleaned up by a light roasty bitterness at the end to ensure that it’s moreish and not too cloying. What was once laying dormant in barrels has now been resurrected into something truly incredible.
