Zeven Zonden

In the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve bit into the apple and that released a flood of sins upon the world. There were seven of them, each one more shameful than the other: pride, greed, lust, envy, gluttony, wrath, and sloth. These seven cardinal sins have been a source of inspiration for a great many people and today, they are immortalised in seven exceptional beers.
Our craft brewery draws on ancient myths and legends as inspiration for creating exceptional drinks from hops, each with its own character, style and flavour. They are produced according to artisan traditions, boosted by a love of the brewing profession and respect for the raw materials used.
The beers bear the Latin names of the seven cardinal sins and are brewed so as to ensure that the ingredients and flavours perfectly express the eponymous sin. The Zeven Zonden beers bear all the hallmarks of the rich Belgian beer-making tradition, but they are clearly imbued with pride, greed, lust, envy, gluttony, wrath and sloth, using carefully selected organic ingredients.
