things. Not much to look at, sort of like a lumpy green orange, bergamots don’t make for good eating but they do smell delicious. And it’s the fragrant bergamot essence that gives our Wit such a lovely whiff.

WIT? White? What? Why?. What’s in a name? Well, Wit is the Belgian word for white beer and Gentleman’s Wit is our English take on the classic Belgian style.

No funny business. Pun-based names aside, we take our Wit rather seriously. And we’re not the only ones. Our Gentleman won a Silver Medal in the Wit category at the 2016 World Beer Cup, which is about as serious a beer competition as you can get. Less
