consists of a photo depicting Solbakken Kollegium in Copenhagen. A lens flare has been added digitally afterwards. The sinister feeling of the photo and the funky look of the lens flare is a way of combining the fresh lemon fruit (used in the beer) with our Danish cultural heritage. The long winters and and our self loathing protestant background has created a strong tradition of embracing darkness in the arts. Just think about the paintings and sculptures of Per Kirkeby, the films of Lars von Trier and the almost gothic qualities of the Sydney Opera House by Danish architect Jørn Utzon. With the design for Limón we are embracing this tradition but also tries to show that there might be light in the dark, even though it is, Photoshopped fake light” Ver menos
