Sobremesa Fermentary & Blendery Retirement Plan

Sobremesa Fermentary & Blendery, the brewing company, launched in late 2020 and is the work of Casey Grieve and Hannah McErlane. ‘Sobremesa’ is Spanish and refers to the time spent relaxing at the table after a shared meal – which is exactly what Casey and Hannah want us to celebrate more; ideally with one of their farmhouse style beers in hand.

 

This is a blend of two mixed culture saisons.

70 % 12 month old saison fermented in a puncheon
30% 9 month old saison fermented in a barrique.

Packaged on September 21st 2023 and naturally conditioned in can for 6 months. This is a beautiful showcase of two barrels that sung when blended together Aroma’s of candied apricot, mornings by the ocean & honey.
