Often when we brew fruited beers, there is still an astonishing amount of flavor left behind in the fruit after packaging. Wanting to breathe new life into a blend of berries from the amazing Sidhu Farms in Puyallup, we took cues from the wine industry to create our first piquette style farmhouse ale – and we’re pleased as punch with the outcome.

Lora highlights the nuanced sweetness of these second-run blackberries, raspberries, and boysenberries while still letting the signature dryness of our house culture shine through. Three months in oak adds a soft hint of almond, and undertones of rosemary add complexity to the extremely refreshing, easy-drinking base beer.

The desire to conserve and use our resources more effectively as a brewery pushes us to be more creative, and it’s satisfying when the payoff is something as delightful as Lora. We’re excited for you to try this one.
