Barmann Cellars Estate Cider is a dry cider made from a blend of apples grown on the familys own estate orchard. This bottle marks a first for Barmann Cellars - as its naturally bottle conditioned with honey harvested from their own land. Fermented
and wild, it captures the true character of their orchard, balancing bright acidity with gentle tannins and the subtle influence of the bees’ first season of work. The honey lends a soft floral lift to the cider’s crisp apple back bone. Light golden bubbles bring it all together, creating a dry yet layered cider with a clean, lingering finish. A reflection of their farm’s full ecosystem.
Barmann Cellars is a relatively new cider & wine project from our friends Stephanie & Jesse, who purchased a farm in the Nooksack Valley in Northwest Washington. Their vineyard & orchard are located on the southern slope of Sumas Mountain in the Puget Sound AVA. The farm is home to some of Whatcom County’s oldest grape vines and fruit trees. Farming practices are inspired by biodynamic and regenerative principles which aim to build soil and foster plant health in a sustainable and ecologically conscious manner. Estate grown and locally sourced fruit inputs are used for fermentation, and wines and ciders are blended and bottled with care, by hand. Steph & Jesse are passionate about natty wine & natural cider. Each year since they launched their cidery they have released a cornucopia of fun cider, perry, wine, and coferments.
