Presentata per la prima volta in occasione del Toer de Geuze del 2013, evento biennale generalmente organizzato in primavera dove molti dei birrifici membri di HORAL aprono le loro porte al pubblico per visite e degustazioni, trattasi di una Kriek realizzata con l’aggiunta di ciliegie polacche intere (con nocciolo) e raccolte a mano. Le ciliegie macerano per almeno sei mesi su un Lambic giovane nella proporzione di un chilogrammo di frutta per litro di Lambic, per poi essere nuovamente miscelate con altro Lambic per ottenere un'intensità minima di 450 grammi di frutta per litro. Il Lambic Kriek fermenta in bottiglia per almeno altri sei mesi e si trasforma in un intenso Lambic fruttato-vinoso.
Al naso, evidenti fragranze fruttate-acide di ciliegia, lievi mele verdi, lamponi, mandorle, un po’ di marzapane e grano, tocchi citrici di limone, vinosi, assieme ai classici sentori rustici di aia, legno, cuoio e cantina. Con un corpo medio ed una carbonatazione media-alta, il gusto segue il naso con un amaro molto basso ed una spiccata secchezza ed acidità fruttata. Setosa, liscia ed elegante al palato con note di frutta rossa (ciliegia, amarena, fragola, ribes rosso e frutti di bosco), mele verdi, una spruzzata di limone, vaniglia, mandorle, sensazioni acetiche, citriche ed acidule, toni legnosi, vinosi e di cortile. Molto rinfrescante e facile da bere, esce di scena con un retrogusto fruttato-acido con tocchi citrici di limone. Un Lambic Kriek sorprendente, con un aroma e un sapore acido e fruttato che è una delizia per i sensi.

HISTORIA 3 FONTEINEN
Fue fundada en el año 1887 como un local que funcionaba como café y a la vez productor de lambics. Donde elaboraban gueuze mediante la mezcla de lambics jóvenes y añejadas que eran adquiridas de otras cerveceras. La compañía fue adquirida en 1953 por Gastón De Belder, amplió el negocio con un restaurante, al comienzo de la década de los 80 falleció y la empresa la heredaron sus hijos Armand y Guido. Armand se quedó al mando de la fábrica. Continuo con la tradición de la mezcla de lambics, actualmente ya no sólo mezcla, también elabora sus propias cervezas. Boon, Girardin, Lindemas y Cantillon son las cerveceras que les proporcionan los lambics para poder hacer la mezcla y obtener sus geuze.

Season 2019-2020. Assemblage #78. Bottled on 30/09/2020. "For this Oude Kriek Intens Rood, we macerated sour cherries for almost nine months partly on oak and partly on stainless steel. We chose both jyoung and two-year oude lambiic for maceration, originating from four different barrels and seven different brews. We blended with another two young lambics from one barrel and two brews. The final fruit intensity is 458 grams of sour cherries per litre of Intens Rood. A part of this blend was bottled on 750 ml bottles and a part on magnums. 100% 3 Fonteinen."
