Las cervezas Märzen se elaboran tradicionalmente de forma más intensa, ya que solo se permitía elaborar cerveza en los meses de septiembre a abril. Así se elaboró una cerveza de mayor duración en marzo, que también sobrevivió a los cinco meses sin proceso de elaboración impuestos por ley.
De espuma densa y duradera, aromáticamente hierbas frescas, maltas y levaduras.
De cuerpo suave y cremoso, aparecen ligeras notas de malta caramelo, equilibrada con una suave acidez.
