Our friendship with the wonderful people over at Cloudwater seems to stretch what feels like an age at this point. As a close source of guidance and advice over our six years, we’re honoured to have shared many a beer with Paul and his team throughout
existence. After making the trip over to Manchester to brew the incredible Tax Haven in the Summer of last year, we had been itching to bring M1’s finest back to North Wales to brew a return beer and to say we’ve gone all out working with one of the best in the world would be an understatement. Near-DIPA levels of hop saturation make up When It Rains – an IPA positively bursting at the seams with the same tropical flavour notes that sent our tastebuds into a frenzy when Cloudwater introduced the New England style to the UK and created a revolution within the beer industry all those years ago. The most fruit forward hop bill we could possibly muster dances across the palate with Citra, Sabro, Azacca and Galaxy each bringing their own unique characteristics but simultaneously working in harmony to create exactly the type of beer that inspired us to brew in the first place.
