Right, so DDH beers have definitely found their way back onto our radar after a short period away from our brew plans, and we’re going all out on the flavour intensity with Breeze Shadows. The type of beer that could only have been conceived through
at our stockholding of hops and saying to ourselves “Yep, let’s go full throttle on this one” - why not take three of the most potent, fruit-forward hops we have in our cold store, nudge the dry-hop ratio up to one of our bigger IPAs and make the most flavour-packed pale ale we possibly can. Motueka takes the lead on this beer, with its distinctive mojito muddled lime flavours backed up with a tropical fruit salad of sweet fruits. Waimea too? Why not. Big mandarin, tangelo and pine notes join the party before that passionfruit meets pot party of flavour notes from Strata finish things delightfully. Less
