Our craziest idea yet has brought together Bacchus grapes, sourced by our lovely friend Ingrid from Dunleavy Vineyards, with mid-season Herefordshire perry pears – Green Horse and Hendre Huffcap. Throw in carbonic maceration and spontaneous co-fermentation, and the result is the creation of a pét nat that is – yep – out of this world!
Insanely aromatic, all peach, elderflower and hedgerow flowers. The sparkle is extremely fine, making it soft and creamy in the mouth. There’s flavours of lemon zest, grapefruit pith, passion fruit, basil leaf, lime oil and just a hint of sweetness. Ultimately it’s totally crushable and a lot of fun!
As far as we know, this is a first. Since it’s not purely apples, unfortunately it does attract wine duty, hence the price being what it is. With just over 500 bottles, if you can, do grab a bit of history.
Serve chilled. vegan and gluten-free. No added sulphites. 750ml. 7.6%.

Bringing together two grape varieties, Solaris and Seyval Blanc, with two pear varieties, Longbois and Antricotin, in a roughly equal blend for a wild co-fermentation before being bottle conditioned and hand disgorged, this is an utterly unique creation!
The perfect combination of the two fruits, the perry pears are revealed in the creamy texture, residual sweetness, honeysuckle aromatics and juicy nectarine flavours, while the grapes show themselves with yuzu lemon, peachiness, citrusy lime, fine boned acid, palate weight and something distinctly grapey!
Serious, yet fun, while this is a brilliant aperitif it is equally at home paired with goats cheese, curried dishes or herby baked fish Mediterranean style! 750ml. 7.9%.
