Taking a trip over to the dark side but not forgetting our roots, we’re huge fans of recreating the robust, bold hoppy US stouts that we ourselves grew up drinking and always relish an opportunity to pay homage to the breweries without whom we wouldn’t exist today.
No messing around with dry hops on this one, this is all about the malt and hot side hops; Talus brings a bright, floral hoppiness that forms the undercurrent of this beer, but it’s within the malt bill that A Modern Classic sings – Chocolate, DRC, Crystal Extra Dark, and Black malts join our usual Extra Pale base to create a rich, full bodied US style stout.
