We’re pushing our mash filter to its limits here, packing this grist out with 50% Oats and Wheat while leaving just enough room for some Barley to really fluff and cream this silly thing up. Heavy additions of Columbus, El Dorado and Chinook in the Whirlpool, fermented on peachy and soft bodied London Ale III then dry hopped to hell with some favourites of ours – Sultana (formally Denali) and BRU1 at 20g/L. The result is an oily, resinous and heady nosed kick of pineapples, sticky fruit pastilles, bubblegum and a touch of dank that swells the nostrils. Flavour matches and has a light bitterness to boot, balancing all that sweet creamy chewy hop fix and leaving you looking forward to the next gulp. It’s a belter of an IPA.

Ratio es una cerveza artesana de Whiplash Beer. Una excelente IPA elaborada a partir de una base con un 50% de avena y trigo que aportan una textura realmente esponjosa y cremosa. Los lúpulos Chinook, Columbus y El Dorado del whirlpool se ven potenciados por grandes adiciones de Sultana y BRU-1 durante el dry hopping. El resultado es una IPA densa, que casi se puede masticar, oleosa, con notas intensas a resina y frutas tropicales. NOTA DE CATA: Color dorado, turbio, con una capa de espuma blanca de buena retención. Aromas intensos a ralladura de limón, piña y cítricos. En boca presenta una textura densa, tiene cuerpo y un perfil complejo dominado por los toques cítricos. El final es ligeramente amargo, con un postgusto agradable y duradero a pino. 6,2% vol. / 44 cl. INGREDIENTES: Agua, malta de cebada , malta de trigo , malta de avena , lúpulo y levadura. RECOMENDACIONES: Servir a una temperatura en torno a 6 - 8ºC.
