Gose brewed from fruit traditionally harvested in the Danish summer - gooseberry, red and black currant. These bitter fruits are balanced by a residual sweetness that was achieved by adding fruit after fermentation and then pasteurizing the beer.
result is a medium red beer with a slight cloudiness and a fine pink foam. The nose is intensely berry-like, with notes of red and black currant, delicate gooseberry and hints of concord grapes, citrus, lime, honey and hibiscus. The taste is presented with light saltiness, mild sweetness and balanced acidity with a slight bitterness. The medium-full body offers some bitterness, medium saturation and a slightly delicious finish, making this gose both refreshing and complex. More Less
