Brewed from the fresh water of the Macedon ranges in central Victoria. Inspired by the popular pale ales of Europe, brewer Paul Holgate has adapted Mt Macedon Ale to local conditions while utilising a traditional London yeast strain. This ale is characterised
its rich golden honey colour and the real ale flavour and aroma typical of top fermented beers. Mt Macedon Ale is moderately bittered and is finished with noble aromatic hops, which add to its complexity. The carbonation is generated naturally by a secondary fermentation in the bottle, giving a soft, fine head. It is non-filtered and no-pasteurised. Enjoy this unique experience. Less
