of MB at St Jerome’s way back when so for this beer I wanted to pay homage to some classic Victorian bitter lagers from my youth. A lot of this comes from the simple and clean pilsner malt backbone, and the use of Super Pride (of Ringwood)

For a bit of modernness, fairly new hops Melba and Vic Secret were used, first in the boil for some spiciness and earthiness, then later in the whirlpool for some light passionfruit/pineapple flavours.

This is an easy drinking summer beer best enjoyed iced cold.
