La Cervecería Oud Beersel, que comenzó en 1882, se encuentra en Beersel a 10 km del centro de Bruselas , en el suroeste de la capital . Es una de las últimas fábricas de cerveza que quedan de auténticas lambic de Bélgica y conocida por su cerveza lambic elaborada con métodos de elaboración tradicionales.
Este proceso de elaboración de la cerveza de fermentación espontánea solo es posible en Bélgica en la región de Pajottenland, el Valle Zenne y en Bruselas, debido a la presencia de una microflora específica.
