Una excelente y económica pilsen checa, la alternativa perfecta a la Budweiser Budvar para los que quieran un gusto más amargo similar a las pilsen españolas.
Un clásico, rubia dorada sacando una copa blanca envidiable. Gusto maltoso, cereales, con final seco y ligeramente amargo. Cuerpo aguado y fácil de beber. Receta legendaria, os aconsejo visitar la fábrica de Plzen y probarla sin filtrar in situ , una gran experiencia.

La Pilsner Urquell en versión tankovna (tanque) conservada en tanque refrigerado, fresca, sin filtrar ni pasteurizar. Es la que elaboran en una instalación de producción tradicional paralela a la moderna e industrial. Se ve que en las bodegas de la fábrica de Pilsen Urquell mantienen la producción tradicional (fuego directo a las calderas de cobre, y cerveza fermentada en tinas de madera, etc.) para comparar los resultados con la producida en la fábrica, y de allí mandan tanques refrigerados a algunos eventos, como el 173 aniversario de la marca celebrado en Barcelona. Dentro de lo suave del estilo, tiene más sabor y aroma.
