Holy Goat Brewing Crimson Blade

Introducing Holy Goat Brewing's latest creation - a barrel aged Flanders Red Ale that will tantalize your taste buds like never before. This exquisite beer is a blend of 80% four-month aged beer and 20% beer aged in red wine barrels for one year, inspired by the Belgian Flanders Red style. The base beers were fermented with a blend of Brettanomyces and bacteria strains, resulting in a complex flavor profile. The beer was then aged for one month on over 400kg of whole 'Stevnsbær' sour cherries, sourced from the orchards on the Frederiksdal estate, which are used to produce award-winning Danish cherry wine. The cherries, second-use after their kriek-inspired beer Holy Mountain, still provide an intense flavor and aroma in this robust sour red ale.
