A Flanders Red style beer, aged for eight months, conditioned on cherries, pinot noir skins and redcurrants. Pastore and Holy Goat used a historical method of making this beer, blending golden wild ale with a small portion of dark wild ale to achieve the Flanders Red base before hitting the beer with a lovely selection of red fruits – Frederiksdal cherries, pinot noir grape skins & redcurrants. The resulting beer has a rich malt character, is acidic, super juicy & refreshing.
Pastore say “‘Ram & Goat’ is our first collaborative brew with HOLY GOAT (hopefully the first of many as we love the team up there and the beers that they make). We don’t make many Flanders Red style beers here but Holy Goat are known for this style and we wanted to give it a go as we are huge fans of the style here.”
