Homage to Hogg is a tribute to Robert Hogg (1818-1897), the father of British pomology who classified countless apple varieties in his lifetime. This cuvee is made from one such variety, vinified and aged for 10 months in ex-Champagne oak barrels. Bottled on cork. Always vintage quality (as Mr Hogg would have liked). 750ml. 7.4%.

Kingston Black is a traditional bittersharp cider apple cultivar originating from the village of Kingstone, Somerset. It is considered one of the very best Cider apples.

Picking occurred on 2nd October 2021 with vinification commencing on 9th October. Primary fermentation occurred in a 228 litre oak barrel, previously used to vinify Pinot Noir (Blanc) from Bouzy, Champagne. The Cider was left to age in the same barrel until the end of July 2022. Bottling occurred on 29th July 2022. Recommended serving temperature 12C. This cider will greatly improve with time! We recommend opening and enjoying it over several days (returning the cork and popping in the fridge in between) if you can stop yourself drinking it! 750ml. 7.2%.
