DÃJÃ BU! It is that feeling of finding yourself once again halfway down a bottle of Ross-on-Wye Cider with a huge grin on your face. And also that feeling of pure joy found in drinking a cider crafted through love and friendship.
Joran visited us in March 2024 and together we blended a beautiful cider: oak barrel Dabinett and Somerset Redstreak with a splash of Reinette dObry. This cider has a salty, smokey aroma that leads the delivery of a gloriously intense and yet still graceful bittersweet cider. Orange syrup, clove and heather honey meld together in a drink finished with an utterly wonderful, gentle bitterness. 8.4% ALC Made in collaboration with the amazing JORAN - Cidrotheque, cider bar in Brussels, Belgium.
The Johnson family have been pressing apples and pears at Broome Farm since the 1930s. Today our natural cider and perry is produced in the same traditional way in the unique soil and climate of Herefordshire. The cidermaking is pure and simple, using only whole juice, and allowing natural fermentation. Cidermaking on Broome Farm is more than business; it is a way of life, and a celebration of the tradition of cider. Into every batch of cider they produce goes a heartfelt belief in the superiority of a natural product over more processed commercial drinks. These natural cider and perry are made from pure apple and pear juice, pressedthemselves, mainly from their own orchards. Less
