Realmente valoramos nuestra colaboración anual con Boon, ya que nos permite empujar los límites y jugar con un estilo de cerveza muy tradicional junto con algunos de los productores de lambic más hábiles del mundo.
De color amarillo pajizo, cuerpo medio, amargor medio, notas cítricas, afrutada, notas herbales...

¿ Quiénes somos ? Nos encontramos ante el exponente más famoso e imaginativo de las llamadas “cervecerías fantasmas” o “gitanos” del planeta cervecero, así llamadas porque viajan por el mundo elaborando sus propias recetas utilizando equipos de otras cervecerías en lugar de poseer los suyos propios. La fábrica no tiene una cervecería oficial, pero coopera con varios productores para crear sus propias recetas. El proyecto Mikkeller nació en 2006 en Copenhague por Mikkel Borg Bjergsø, profesor de matemáticas y física de secundaria y periodista, Kristian Klarup Keller. Antes de fundar la empresa, el dúo experimentó con sus propias creaciones en casas de amigos, haciendo sorpresas en la cocina del apartamento de Mikkel y en el comedor de la escuela. Las primeras producciones son clones de cervezas existentes pero después del éxito en las “catas a ciegas”, Mikkel y Kristian comienzan a elaborar sus propias recetas y participan en varios concursos nacionales, ganando muchos. Desde 2012 organiza la actual “Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen” (antes Copenhagen Beer Celebration): un evento que acoge las mejores cervecerías del mundo y representa uno de los eventos más interesantes y atractivos del sector.
