It promises exquisitely balanced lactic acid sourness and citrus freshness courtesy of the respective masteries of sour cultures and the hop. In Two Minds takes a beautiful, lightly tart, sour IPA base infused with grapefruit, ages it in foeders to add some woody complexity and then dry hops the bejesus out of it, adding citrus hoppiness by the bucketload. Expect light lacto-tartness, complex wood overlays and fresh lemon and grapefruit citrus vibes. You won’t be In Two Minds about this one, we can guarantee it!

Schottland 2007 gründeten Martin und James (damals beide 24 Jahre alt) zusammen mit ihrem Hund die Brauerei BrewDog in Schottland. Die Beiden wurden schnell von den britischen Industriebieren gelangweilt, also lag es nah dagegen etwas zu tun. Sie holten sich Geld von der Bank und setzten alles auf eine Karte: gutes Bier! Während sie damals noch die Flaschen mit der Hand abfüllten und die Ware persönlich mit ihrem Bulli auslieferten, ist BrewDog eines der am schnellsten wachsenden Brauereien. In 10 Jahren haben die beiden eine große Marke geschaffen, welche mittlerweile auch eine weitere eigene Brauerei in den USA aufgebaut hat. Damit haben BrewDog seit 2016 750 Mitartbeiter weltweit, welche die Mission der beiden Gründer leben. Diese Mission lautet: „Wir möchten alle Menschen von Craft Beer begeistern, so wie wir begeistert sind.“ Schottland

Sour IPA frutto della collaborazione con DEYA Brewing Company, prodotta con 4 diverse tipologie di luppolo americano e tedesco e fermentata con brettanomiceti, quindi passata in botte di quercia; in seguito al passaggio in botte, è stato effettuato il dry-hopping ed è stata aggiunta buccia di pompelmo.
Il risultato è una birra hazy, complessa nella sua particolarità, con evidenti note citriche, funky e di frutta matura; non manca di certo il contributo della botte con le sue note legnose e di cantina.
