A return to the northwest by our good friends in Dublin, Third Barrel seen another classic style reinterpreted. A strong, dark & malt forward base beer was cold fermented with a German lager yeast before being transferred to Northern Ireland whiskey barrels with our house blend Bretanomyces. The resulting light bodied Porter style beer has a subtle chocolate dark fruit and oak aroma with Molasses and vanilla on the tongue and a gentle whiskey finish. 12.3%alc/750ml.
