At Kasteel Brouwerij Vanhonsebrouck we mature our Kasteel Tripel in recycled cognac barrels. This beer style is called ‘Barrel Aged’, aging beer in recycled barrels. Our brewer fills previously used cognac barrels with Kasteel Tripel to ensure that the beer retains the taste of cognac without losing its own identity. T

Kasteel Trignac XII is a cask-aged Tripel from Belgian brewery, Kasteel Brouwerij Van Honsebrouck. This exclusive Belgian Tripel is matured in French ex-Cognac barrels, to impart a delicate touch of Cognac into the beer. The beer is then bottled with a touch of yeast to encourage further fermentation in the bottle. At 12% ABV, Kasteel Trignac XII is a beer to sip and savour!
