Hand Of Doom II is an imperial stout fermented in a freshly emptied Blair Athol whisky hogshead. Brewed with an array of roasted and crystal malts, and fermented with a with a historical yeast. Holy Goat cast the wort for this stout directly into the barrel to undergo primary fermentation.
Holy Goat say “An experimental process for us, warm fermentation in a freshly emptied barrel has proved itself a unique process to draw out intense flavours from deep within the wood. Expect treacle toffee, dried fruits, cinnamon, caramel and chocolate.”
