It is the transition beer from the Bocks, Porters, and Dopplebocks of winter to the Pils, Helles, and Wheat beers of summer. The Lenzbock has a sweet malt aroma and flavors with a slight bitter note on the finish. 2013 was our first year brewing the Lenzbock and we plan on brewing it again--look for it in April/May.
