Mortis Vitis is all about the grapes. On Halloween last year we brewed a one-off raisin and oatmeal stout. It was only going to be a one off; however, we absolutely loved it and thought the only way to improve it would be to age it in red wine barrels – so that’s exactly what we did. As we expected, the red wine and oak flavours that it’s picked up throughout the ageing process compliment this beer making it a very drinkable fruity stout.

Barrel aged for 6 months. Unfined, unfiltered, unpasteurised natural beer. Suitable for vegans.
