An ‘Altbier’ is a traditional German style beer from the area of Dusseldorf, Germany. The word ‘alt’ translates to ‘aged’ or ‘older’ in German. The beer is brewed with a top fermenting yeast like ales, but aged cold for a long time, like lagers are. This brew is amber in colour with toasty and herbal aromas. Refreshing bitterness balanced by bready malt flavours.   5.1% ABV
