Cold Town Taking the Pith is a fruit beer from Cold Town Brewery in Edinburgh. Coming from humble beginnings with a microbrewery, originating in the historic Grassmarket, Cold Town began brewing up a storm. Seeing the need to upgrade Cold Town Brewery expanded their operations on Dunedin Street to match demand. Mild marmalade notes from dried orange peel sit alongside rich caramel and raisin flavours. The use of Special B Belgian malt gives Cold Town Taking the Pith its deep brown colour and dark roasted aromas, which are complemented by Centennial’s earthy and floral hop character. Cold Town Taking the Pith is a complexly delicious brew with a soft, spicy finish.
