Brouhaha Brewery Maleny Lager

This is what beer tastes like when it is made from natural ingredients. All 4 ingredients work in harmony together, no single ingredient outshines the others. This is a great starting beer if the customer doesn’t drink ‘craft beer’. It is traditionally made with an extending period of cold conditioning ‘lagering’ to clarify it rather than being filtered like most other lagers in the market. It has a little bit of extra malt sweetness than mass-produced lagers (because it is made from malt rather than adjuncts and isn’t filtered) but then it finishes nice and dry and with that gentle bitterness from the Czech Saaz Hops. Not fruity. Not hoppy. Not too dry. Not too sweet. Just a really simple, approachable lager.
