In de mond worden deze aroma's versterkt, met een toevoeging van graantonen van spelt, een bloemige toets en een afdronk die doet denken aan limoenschil. De aanzet is zacht, maar de afdronk is zeer droog en bitter, kenmerken die typerend zijn voor de Saison-stijl van de jaren twintig en die de naam hebben geïnspireerd.
