Tomb For Two is an oak fermented pilsner that we brewed in collaboration with our good buds Obelisk Brewing in Astoria, Oregon. Tomb For Two started out with a simple mash of German-grown pilsner malt and Washington-grown spelt malt. We then added Hallertau Mittelfrüh, Lorién and Luminosa hops into the kettle to bring our pilsner into the modern realm. Tomb For Two was then fermented cold with our house lager strain in a blend of Washington red wine barrels, and allowed to lager for several weeks. We then pulled Tomb For Two out of oak and dry hopped it with more Luminosa.
