HISTORIA 3 FONTEINEN
Fue fundada en el año 1887 como un local que funcionaba como café y a la vez productor de lambics. Donde elaboraban gueuze mediante la mezcla de lambics jóvenes y añejadas que eran adquiridas de otras cerveceras. La compañía fue adquirida en 1953 por Gastón De Belder, amplió el negocio con un restaurante, al comienzo de la década de los 80 falleció y la empresa la heredaron sus hijos Armand y Guido. Armand se quedó al mando de la fábrica. Continuo con la tradición de la mezcla de lambics, actualmente ya no sólo mezcla, también elabora sus propias cervezas. Boon, Girardin, Lindemas y Cantillon son las cerveceras que les proporcionan los lambics para poder hacer la mezcla y obtener sus geuze.

Elaborada a partir de cervezas tipo lambic envejecidas y maduradas en barriles diferentes, que se han elaborado a partir del mosto de cervezas diferentes. 100% natural, auténtica. No filtrada y no pasteurizada. Aromas a cítricos, a ralladura de pomelo, limón y lima. Y sabores también cítricos. Final ácido. Envejecida en barriles de roble, es una cerveza en constante evolución. Su proceso natural de fermentación continua en la botella. Aroma afrutado, a manzanas y limón. De espuma muy ligera. De agradable acidez, que se suaviza a medida que madura. Maridaje: ideal como aperitivo, y con ensaladas o quesos suaves. Curiosidad: Botella serigrafiada. Las botellas serigrafiadas corresponden a los lotes embotellados a partir del otoño de 2.016, y su lanzamiento tuvo lugar durante el «Toer of Geuze» 2017. La denomianción «Cuvée Armand & Gaston hace referencia a la fase de renacimiento de la cervecera 3 Fonteinen que estuvo cerca de abandonar el negocio de las cervezas Geuze. Son las mezclas de cervezas seleccionadas por Armand Debelder, y llevan el nombre de su padre en homenaje al sueño de su padre con la elaboración de cervezas tipo Lambic. Consejo: Verter lentamente en una copa de cristal tipo “flauta”, sin perturbar el sedimento de levadura que quedará en la botella. Cerveza no filtrada. Bien conservada (protegida de la luz y en lugar fresco y seco) puede evolucionar durante décadas.

Naturalmente ogni batch è differente poiché i Lambic autoprodotti impiegati, cambiano di volta in volta, provengono da botti di diversa tipologia e grandezza e le proporzioni del blend non sono mai le stesse. Elegante, complessa e pungente in pieno stile 3 Fonteinen, solitamente si presenta di colore dorato. Si percepiscono al naso ed al palato note acidule, di legno, cuoio, cantina e stallatico arricchite da sfumature citriche. Una birra dalla spiccata acidità, secca e rinfrescante: un must per gli amanti dello stile.

Elaborada a partir de cervezas tipo lambic envejecidas y maduradas en barriles diferentes, que se han elaborado a partir del mosto de cervezas diferentes. 100% natural, auténtica. No filtrada y no pasteurizada. Aromas a cítricos, a ralladura de pomelo, limón y lima. Y sabores también cítricos. Final ácido.

Envejecida en barriles de roble, es una cerveza en constante evolución. Su proceso natural de fermentación continua en la botella. Aroma afrutado, a manzanas y limón. De espuma muy ligera. De agradable acidez, que se suaviza a medida que madura.

Maridaje: ideal como aperitivo, y con ensaladas o quesos suaves.

La denomianción «Cuvée Armand & Gaston hace referencia a la fase de renacimiento de la cervecera 3 Fonteinen que estuvo cerca de abandonar el negocio de las cervezas Geuze. Son las mezclas de cervezas seleccionadas por Armand Debelder, y llevan el nombre de su padre en homenaje al sueño de su padre con la elaboración de cervezas tipo Lambic.

Consejo: Verter lentamente en una copa de cristal tipo “flauta”, sin perturbar el sedimento de levadura que quedará en la botella. Cerveza no filtrada. Bien conservada (protegida de la luz y en lugar fresco y seco) puede evolucionar durante décadas.

3 Fonteinen Oude Geuze Cuvée Armand & Gaston is a blend of one-, two-, and three-year old traditional lambics, all brewed at Brouwerij 3 Fonteinen. Spontaneous fermentation, patient maturation in oak barrels, and continued evolution in the bottle result in a distinctively complex beer. No two bottlings are alike, as there are multiple variables in the blending process, a variety of barrel sizes and shapes, differences in aged lambic proportions, etc. This cuvée, like all of our lambic, is 100% natural, authentic, spontaneously fermented, and crafted with steadfast adherence to tradition, like Armand and Gaston Debelder have always done it. This geuze has fermented in the bottle and will continue to develop its tastes and aromas over its long life when properly cellared. "Este Cuvée Armand and Gaston específico se ha mezclado con lámbicas originarias de seis barriles diferentes y no menos de once cervezas diferentes. Dos de estas lámbicas tienen 29 meses de edad y han envejecido en dos barriles de Jerez, que contuvieron Oloroso durante al menos 20 y 40 años, respectivamente. Del volumen total de lámbicas, alrededor del 20% se elaboró con los propios cereales de la cervecera, procedentes de Brabante, de los cuales aproximadamente el 5% con variedades de trigo propias de la familia. La Oude Gueuze Cuvée Armand & Gaston es una mezcla de lambics jóvenes y viejas, lo que deriva en una cerveza de enorme singularidad, bastante compleja.
Presenta un color amarillo anaranjado, muy pálido y brumoso, coronado por una fina espuma blanca. En los aromas destacan los cítricos, especialmente pomelo y limón, pero también aparecen suaves reminiscencias a madera o levadura.
En boca, como toda buena lámbica no afrutada, es seca, pero con unos agradables toques de limón, hierbas y malta.
