BrewDog Cocoa Psycho
Russian Imperial Stout
Roasty. Decadent. Mocha.
Welcome to the world of cocoa psycho, a liquid dimension where pure indulgence reigns.
This Imperial Stout borrows from the voluptuary decadence of 18th Century Russia, with its extravagantly smooth blend of crushed coffee beans, cacao nibs and dark malts.
Dig past the infusions of vanilla pods and toasted oak chips and eventually you’ll come face to face with the madness required to make this beer: a kind of depraved logic that would make Rasputin himself proud.
To fully unleash the aromas and bittersweet luxury of this stout we recommend drinking it from a stemmed beer glass before taking a sledgehammer to a Faberge egg.
Charlie Wells Dry Hop Lager
Golden lager with a hoppy, clean, extra smooth flavour and irresistibly fresh aftertaste.
Charlie Wells had a most colourful past. With a history as full and abundant as the beard on his chin, his life was often adventurous, occasionally mischievous but always ingenious. Before the days of backpacking, hostel-hopping hipsters, there were people like Charlie. Charlie had real passion for exploration. Leaving school at 14, he travelled the world as a sailor in the Merchant Navy, rising through the ranks to eventually become a captain.
Charlie Wells’ Dry Hopped Lager is made in true continental style using 100% malt in the mash. Several varieties of hops combine to give the beer a slight bitterness and hoppy aroma. Yeast is then added during cool fermentation, along with Australian Galaxy and Ella hops to add extra depth and character. The beer is an easy drinking sessionable lager, but with more interesting character and tones than your average lager beer.
This golden lager beer has a tangy, clean, extra smooth flavour, without being overly bitter and adds to the rounded and irresistibly fresh aftertaste. Just how Charlie liked it.
