Camerons Brewery is now the only remaining major regional family brewer in the North East of England. The Lion Brewery has been established in Hartlepool for over 150 years and has been the home to Camerons since 1865. In April 2002 The Lion Brewery was purchased by Castle Eden Brewery and a new company was formed – Camerons Brewery Limited.
A fine portfolio of traditional ales is available in cask, keg and bottle including the famous “Ruby Red” Strongarm and new craft milk stout Tontine.
Using the finest ingredients and water from our own well we are a major regional independent brewery that delivers the highest quality craft beer brands and unrivalled service to our consumers and to our trade customers alike.
The Lion Brewery produces over 500,000 pints per a day, brewing cask, keg and bottled ales and lagers. Camerons currently has contracts with a number of global brewers including Heineken and Carlsberg Tetley and is committed to become one of the leading contract brewing facilities in the UK.
