Founded in Spring 2019 by James Brown with the desire to create quality, hop forward alcohol free craft beer for the modern world.
We launched with a simple promise, to only make beer that we love. It’s all about taste, quality and creativity. Using the finest ingredients, innovative yeast cultures and modern brewing techniques to create beers that are always alcohol free, vegan and never compromise on taste.
We’re on a mission to shake up the dull and tasteless alcohol free beer of the past. As a new and independent brewery we are free to experiment, push the boundaries, and that’s exactly what we do. With lots of new unique offerings available each year, we pride ourselves on the diversity and range of beer that we produce.
We believe that design plays a key role in the experience of craft beer and that’s no different for us just because our beers are non-alcoholic.
Our designer James Ockelford, was looking at 1960’s Japanese poster design when he came across the eye. After doing some further research he came across an abundance of eye icons all over the world. They are used everywhere but had never been seen on beer - so we figured it was time to change that.
The wide open eye represents being fully awakened - present - sober. We like the idea of the eye looking out to sea, to the future. A modernist gesture.Since launching our first two beers in 2019 we’ve made waves with bold new beer releases such as our Single Hop Series and Double Dry Hop Series as we look to keep innovating, educating and pushing the boundaries.
Our small but mighty team has continued to grow as has the demand for quality alcohol free beers. We are now widely available in independent stores and online retailers throughout the UK as well as proudly exporting our beer to seven countries.
It’s been an exciting start to our adventure into the brave new world of alcohol free craft beer and we’re only just getting started.
