Origin stories have their own gravity. They are tales that wind around the present, and pull us into the past. They are the gateway that lets us straddle time and explore our own mythic history.
We are members of the Duvel Moortgat family. When it comes to sister breweries, beer runs even thicker than blood. Occasionally competitors on the shelves, we are always collaborators behind the scenes. We share knowledge, equipment, storage space, and sometimes, in the case of our Blenderie program, beer. It’s a mutually beneficial relationship that propels each brewery to new heights.

We are located in Cooperstown, New York on the site of an old hop farm with a pristine water source. Fun fact: Ommegang was the first Belgian-style brewery in the United States.
We invite you to come walk about our grounds, take a tour with one of our beer experts, enjoy a beer-pairing menu at our newly renovated Tap House, and during your visit take special note of the two dates on our iconic archway: 1549 and 1997.
