Chuddy Cheeks is an ode to an iconic American Pale Wheat Ale by the legendary Three Floyds Brewing. This American Pale Wheat Ale features a grist layered with German & English malts, giving a nice bread crusty flavor profile, with a touch of crackery notes from the use of wheat. Contrary to European Wheat beers, this is fermented with a clean American yeast, so that the flavors from the malt and hops get to shine - you'll find no banana here! It features a generous addition of Simcoe in the kettle, with a layered dry hop of Simcoe & Amarillo. From that you get a very classic American flavor profile, think bitter grapefruit, candied orange rind, sticky evergreen resin & sweet citrus fruits. A real spring & summer refresher!
