Braeburn and strawberry co ferment. 950g/l of fresh, supermarket rejected, strawberries were added to a wild fermentation of 2022 Braeburn apples, aged on lees for 6 months. Bright acidity is followed by huge notes of strawberry and tart red apples. A finish of freshly bitten strawberry seeds and a yoghurty richness from the lactic acid completes the wonderful experimental fruity bev. 330ml. 5.2%.

950g/L of fresh supermarket-rejected strawberries were added to a fermentation of 2022 season Braeburn juice, then aged on the lees for 6 months.
The resulting cider hybrid offers bright acidity, huge notes of fresh strawberry, tart red apples, with a finish reminiscent of freshly-bitten strawberry seeds, and a wonderful yoghurty richness from the lactic acid produced in the fermentation.
